One of the major “contributors” to our desire to squeeze as much adventure into each trip and day itself is that we truly do not know how much time we get to explore. There are so many things to be seen/done with an unknown expiration date on our opportunity. We feel so fortunate to be blessed with life every single day, because of one who left this physical world far too soon.
Madison O’Neal Blanchard is the reason behind our tie dying ways. He is our friend and brother. We miss him often and we feel his presence frequently on our adventures in the form of a bald eagle sighting or a jet stream in the sky. His Volkswagen bus has been host to countless adventures and we feel his presence with us on every single one. Unfortunately we’re not able to have his bus along with us while we’re doing travel therapy and we miss it already!
Why the blog?
This blog is our best attempt to “capture” our experiences, lessons learned, ‘great finds’, with a little bit reflection while still fresh on our minds. It is our hope that our journey can inspire you to get outside and find or create your own grand adventures! Or if you just want to live vicariously through us then we’re here for that too!
